AFTE Store - Unusual Case with Two Henry Repeating Arms Model H001 Rifles

A case was submitted to the Texas DPS Tyler Regional Crime Laboratory in which two .22 caliber lever action Henry Repeating Arms rifles were submitted as suspect firearms in a homicide. Additional evidence included one 22 L/LR cartridge case and two lead bullets. During the examination it was discovered that although outwardly the rifles appeared identical,
the rifling of the bore was very different between the two firearms.
