Unusual Marks on Cartridge Cases by GPC Revolvers

Unusual firing pin and chamber marks observed on .22 Short and .22 Long Rifle caliber cartridge cases shot in revolvers made by the General Precision Corporation. A top portion of these revolver chambers have been cut away on the model 40 and 60 so that the free floating firing pin can sometimes strike to one side causing the cartridge case to bulge.
