AFTE Store - Unusual Problem with Blown Primers

Author describes removal of metallic residue build up on the tip of a RG model 40 firing pin caused by two test fires with blown primers. After residue was removed with a dilute nitric acid solution and identification to the evidence cartridge case was made.
