AFTE Store - Winchester Hi-Density Shot Shell Buffer

This study examined the flight characteristics and impact signatures of Winchester Hi-Density+ polyethylene buffer material. A comparison to other buffer material typically found in 00 buckshot rounds of other manufacturers was made. The unique characteristics of Winchester Hi-Density+ buffer material result in much greater distances being traversed upon discharge and a greater likelihood of stippling being produced upon impact with tissue as compared with standard buffers.
