Sanding – A finishing process that utilizes an abrasive material to smooth or polish
Reduced Potential for Subclass Carryover
The potential for subclass carryover is low when using sanding to finish a surface due to the constant removal of the grit from the adhering substrate of the sandpaper as it moves along the surface of the work piece. The potential does increase however, if using a sanding surface that uses a large size grit with a strong adhesive.
